The Secretary to Government of Gombe State, Ibrahim Njodi, has facilitated employment opportunities for two indigenes of the state, as part of ongoing efforts to support youth empowerment and job creation.

The beneficiaries are Ibrahim Sarki Laison from Kaltungo Local Government Area, who was appointed Chief Security Officer at the Lincoln University College, Kumo Campus, and Ahmed Umar Maguk from Balanga LGA, who secured employment as a Pharmacy Technician at the Federal Medical Centre Kumo.

Presenting the appointment letters on Wednesday Prof. Njodi congratulated the beneficiaries and urged them to demonstrate diligence and commitment in their new roles.
“You must be up and doing in your place of work. Imbibe the spirit of hard work and patience. This opportunity is a divine responsibility, and you should always strive to support others where necessary,” he said.
In a related development, the SGS also donated a brand new HP laptop to a private photographer, Othniel Isaac, to support and enhance his photography business.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Laison expressed appreciation to the SSG for the gesture, describing it as impactful and timely.
“We are grateful to the SGS for securing these employment opportunities and for supporting one of us with tools to grow his business. We assure you that we will not let you down,” he said.
He further commended the administration of Muhammadu Yahaya for its commitment to improving the lives of citizens and wished the government continued success.
