Leaders and stakeholders of Akwa Ibom North-East (Uyo Senatorial District) have endorsed Governor Umo Eno for a second term in office, citing confidence in his administration’s performance.

The endorsement was conveyed in a communiqué presented to the governor, affirming their collective support for his re-election bid.
Reacting, Governor Eno expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as a vote of confidence in his leadership.
“I received a communiqué of endorsement from leaders and stakeholders of Akwa Ibom North-East, Uyo Senatorial District, affirming their support for my second term in office,” he said.
The governor also acknowledged the role of key political figures and stakeholders in the process.
“I am deeply humbled by this show of trust and confidence in our administration, and I appreciate the leadership of Senator Effiong Bob and all stakeholders for their continued support,” he added.
Governor Eno further noted the backing of national leaders, including Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
“I also note and appreciate the endorsement of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the support for the Senate President, Distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio, GCON,” he stated.
Reaffirming his administration’s priorities, the governor pledged continued commitment to development across the state.
“We remain committed to delivering on the ARISE Agenda, ensuring inclusive governance, and sustaining peace, unity, and development across our State,” he said.
