The All Progressives Congress (APC) consensus candidate for the 2027 Gombe State governorship election, Jamil-Isyaku Gwamna, has called for unity within the party, extending a hand of fellowship to fellow aspirants and their supporters.

This was contained in a press statement issued on Tuesday, by his media aide Ibrahim Shawai, expressed appreciation to Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Yahaya, for the confidence reposed in him, while pledging to build on the administration’s achievements.
He described his emergence as a collective victory for the party and emphasized the need for inclusiveness going forward.
“My vision, captured under the initiative ‘Let’s Build Gombe Together,’ is rooted in inclusivity and collective responsibility,” he said.
Gwamna acknowledged the contributions of other aspirants, noting that their efforts have strengthened the APC in the state.
“I extend my hand of fellowship to my brothers and sisters who aspired for this position,” he stated. “Your ideas, your energy, and your commitment to Gombe remain invaluable. Together, we can achieve far more than any individual effort.”
He further assured party members of an open and respectful political process, stressing that unity and mutual respect would be critical to achieving success in the 2027 elections.
According to him, “the task ahead requires unity of purpose, mutual respect, and a shared vision for a better Gombe State.”
Gwamna also called on party faithful to rally behind Governor Inuwa Yahaya and work towards securing victory for the APC and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming general elections.
In addition, he urged supporters across the state to maintain peace and avoid actions capable of undermining the stability currently enjoyed in Gombe.
“We have no other home but Gombe State,” he said. “Our ambitions must align with a higher purpose, to build a safer, stronger, and more prosperous future for our people.”
