The Executive Chairman of Kaltungo East Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Dr. Barnabas Malle, has outlined his administration’s development agenda following a strategic meeting with council members aimed at setting the direction for governance and service delivery.

Dr. Malle, a former Commissioner for Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperatives, said the meeting was convened to strengthen collaboration between the political leadership and the council’s administrative structure in line with the development philosophy of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.

He stressed the need for unity, teamwork and collective responsibility in addressing the developmental challenges confronting communities within the LCDA.
Discussions at the meeting centred on formulating a comprehensive roadmap for improving the living standards of residents, with emphasis on identifying and prioritising critical community needs.
Council members also reviewed strategies designed to promote sustainable development, strengthen grassroots governance and position the LCDA for accelerated socio-economic growth.
The chairman noted that the resolutions reached would serve as the foundation for people-oriented programmes and projects expected to usher in a new phase of development in Kaltungo East.
Dr. Malle reaffirmed the commitment of his administration and council members to translating the outcomes of the meeting into concrete actions that would improve the welfare of the people and deliver the dividends of good governance at the grassroots.
