Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya on Saturday announced portfolios for 23 newly inaugurated commissioners at the International Conference Centre, Gombe.
The governor inaugurated the new members of the State Executive Council and charged them to help consolidate the achievements of his administration.
“Work with dedication and integrity to serve the people. I am confident you will help us leave behind a Gombe State that is significantly better than the one we met,” Yahaya said.
The full list of commissioners and their portfolios is as follows:
1. Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security – Abdulkadir Mohammed Waziri
2. Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning – Micah Sunday Hamman
3. Ministry of Education – Prof. Aishatu Umaru Maigari
4. Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources – Sanusi Ahmad Pindiga
5. Ministry of Environment and Forest Resources – Yusuf K. Jalingo
