The Nigerian Bar Association, Jalingo Branch said, the emergence of Mrs. Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, SAN, as the new NBA national president is a demonstration of hope for a bold Bar.

In a congratulatory statement issued to journalists by the branch chairman, Dr. Daniel-Philemon Saredau, the Jalingo bar expressed hope that the Badejo’s administration will strengthen the professional welfare of lawyers, deepen access to justice, and promote the unity and institutional renewal of the Bar.
Dr. Saredau assured the president-elect that the Jalingo bar remain ready to support her leadership to advance the ideals of the NBA.
“Madam President, your election as 33rd President of the Nigerian Bar Association is a strong endorsement of your vision of a Bold Bar. Your message of inclusivity, accountable leadership, courage, and lawyers welfare, clearly resonated with members of the Association, who have now entrusted you with the responsibility of steering the affairs of our noble profession for the next two years.

“The Jalingo Bar notes with particular interest, your commitment to build an NBA where lawyers can earn better, live better, and practise better. That aspiration speaks directly to the realities of many practitioners and reflects the kind of purposeful leadership the Association needs at this time.

“We are confident that your administration will strengthen the professional welfare of lawyers, deepen access to justice, and promote the unity and institutional renewal of the Bar.
“We wish to assure you that the Jalingo Branch stands ready to support your leadership in advancing the ideals of the NBA and in consolidating a more responsive, vibrant, and forward-looking Association,” the
Jalingo NBA congratulated.
