That headline tells you everything about 2027 and nothing about Nigeria.

When a ruling party celebrates the weakness of its opponents more than it sells its own results, democracy is in trouble. When the opposition is busy fighting itself instead of fighting poverty, democracy is also in trouble.

Morka may be right about the arithmetic. A divided opposition rarely wins. But “unstoppable” is a dangerous word in a country where millions are still stoppable by hunger, insecurity, and hospital bills.

Nigeria is in an unfortunate situation. Not because one man or one party is strong. But because politics has become a coronation, not a contest.

The people are not being asked: Are your lives better? Can you feed? Are your roads safe? Are your children learning?

Instead we are told: The other side is scattered. Therefore, stay the course.

That is not a campaign. That is complacency.

2027 should not be about who is unstoppable. It should be about who is accountable.

Until both government and opposition remember that, the only thing truly unstoppable will be Nigerians’ suffering.
