Fellow Citizen, let us speak plainly before 2027 buries us again.
A monolithic or solo front by the various opposition leaders with ego is not the way. It is the same way that failed in 2023. It is the same way that gave us tragedy, and now affliction.
Nigeria is bleeding. Bandits, inflation, hunger. Yet the opposition is busy measuring agbada and calculating who will be number one on the ballot. Solo ambitions. Personal fiefdoms. “It is my turn.” “Emi lokan.”
That is not politics. That is performance art in a graveyard.
You cannot defeat an incumbent machinery with ten different candidates and ten different egos. The ruling party is already laughing. They know division is their greatest campaign manager.
Buhari broke the foundation with drift. Tinubu is painting the cracks gold with “reforms.” And while that happens, opposition leaders are busy doing press conferences against each other instead of against the government.
2027 is not about personalities. It is about survival.
If the various opposition leaders truly love Nigeria and not just their portraits on campaign posters, they will sit down. One front. One agenda. One candidate. Or we will be here again in 2028 writing another eulogy.
Until ego dies, Nigeria will keep bleeding.
