Fellow Citizen, Bishop Kukah will call for peace. The politicians will sign the Peace Accord. Cameras will flash. Hands will be raised. And 48 hours later, the thugs will be back on the streets.

This is not peace. This is performative display of political rhetoric.

We have turned elections into Nollywood. The script is the same: Bishop preaches, candidates sign, INEC watches, and the people bleed. After the votes, the Accord becomes toilet paper.

Now they are warming up for Osun 2026. Early primaries. Early violence. Early promises. Early “consultations.” And we all know how it ends: futility.

Osun 2026 will be another exercise in managed chaos. Money will flow. Ego will clash. “It is my turn” will echo from Osogbo to Ilesa. The ruling party will bring federal power. The opposition will bring 10 candidates and 10 egos.

And Bishop Kukah will be invited again to beg for peace, as if peace is something you sign once and forget.

Buhari broke the foundation with drift. Tinubu is painting the cracks gold with “reforms.” But the real problem is us. We keep clapping in a cemetery and calling it democracy.

Until we criminalize violence and not just condemn it, until we vote people not portfolios, these Peace Accords are just photo ops.

Osun 2026 is already a futility if ego leads.
Tragedy plus affliction equals collapse.
