The directive, announced Wednesday by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, follows the completion of the committee’s mandate.

Wike has also approved a new division within the FCT Department of Land Administration to take over all matters relating to the sale of Federal Government Houses previously handled by the committee.

The FCT Administration advised members of the public to direct all enquiries and transactions concerning the sale of the houses to the Department of Land Administration.

It also warned against fraudsters impersonating officials or members of the dissolved committee and its secretariat, stressing that both entities have ceased to exist.
