Chairman Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Gombe State Chapter

A Tribute to a Colleague, Creative Mind, and Distinguished Member of the Film Industry.

It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that I, on behalf of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Gombe State Chapter, extend my heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, colleagues, and associates of our beloved brother and colleague, Mr. Bature Zambuk, fondly known as Biggy, whose passing has left a painful void in our hearts and the Nigerian film industry.

The news of his demise is a great loss, not only to his immediate family but also to the entire creative community, particularly members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria and all those who had the privilege of working with him in Kannywood and Nollywood.

The late Bature Zambuk was more than a member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria; he was a creative personality whose contributions as a writer, producer, and film industry practitioner formed part of his legacy. His involvement in the entertainment industry reflected his passion for storytelling, creativity, and the promotion of Nigerian culture through film.

As someone who worked across Kannywood and Nollywood, Biggy was part of a vibrant creative community that continues to use the power of film to educate, entertain, inspire, and preserve our cultural heritage. His journey in the industry will remain a source of remembrance to those who knew him, worked alongside him, and shared in his passion for the creative arts.

His departure is a painful reminder of the irreplaceable value of every individual who dedicates their time, talent, and energy to the growth of the entertainment industry. Although death has taken him away from our midst, the memories of his life, professional engagements, and contributions will continue to live in the hearts of those he encountered.

To the bereaved family, I understand that words alone cannot heal the pain of losing a loved one. Losing someone dear is never easy, and the loss becomes even more difficult when the departed has touched so many lives within and beyond the family circle. Please accept our sincere condolences during this difficult period.

On behalf of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Gombe State Chapter, I pray that Almighty God grants the family the strength, courage, and comfort to bear this painful loss. May He grant his colleagues, friends, and the entire creative community the fortitude to overcome the grief of his departure.

As we mourn our departed colleague, let us also celebrate the life he lived, the passion he demonstrated, and the memories he leaves behind. His physical presence may be gone, but his name and the impact of his work will remain part of the story of the creative industry.

Rest peace, Mr. Bature Zambuk (Biggy).

You will be remembered as a colleague, a creative mind, and a member of our great guild.

Your departure is a loss to us all, but we take solace in the memories you leave behind.

May Almighty God forgive your shortcomings, grant you eternal rest, and comfort your family and everyone you left behind.

Rest in peace, Biggy. You will be deeply missed.

Signed:

Comrade Zakiya Luka
