The Benin Writers Society has celebrated one of its members, Jemima Ajakaiye, describing her as a creative storyteller, visionary and emerging force in digital content creation.
The society, in a birthday congratulatory message issued in her honour, praised Ajakaiye for her creativity, professional commitment and passion for promoting authentic African stories through digital media.

Ajakaiye, a graduate of Mass Communication from the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, is a freelance mobile videographer, content creator and social media manager.
According to the society, she has demonstrated a strong passion for storytelling, digital marketing, branding and strategic networking, using her skills to help individuals and businesses build visibility and communicate their identities effectively.
“She is a fantastic writer, one whose pen paints pictures and whose camera captures purpose,” the society said.
It described her as a young woman who had translated her academic knowledge into practical impact, adding that her approach to the creative industry reflected a commitment to skill development, innovation and excellence.
The society also highlighted Ajakaiye’s ambition to establish a strong lifestyle community for emerging entrepreneurs, where young business owners could share knowledge, develop skills, nurture ideas and build sustainable enterprises.
“Her greatest ambition is profound: building a strong lifestyle community for budding young entrepreneurs — a hub where dreams are nurtured, skills are shared, and young CEOs are raised,” the statement said.
The organisation further noted that Ajakaiye’s interest in strategic networking went beyond making contacts, stressing the importance of building meaningful relationships and creating opportunities for professional growth.
Reflecting on her journey, the society said her commitment to storytelling and service offered an inspiring example to young people seeking to make a difference in the digital and creative economy.
“In a generation where many seek shortcuts, she has chosen the path of skill, storytelling and service,” it added.
The society expressed optimism that her creativity and entrepreneurial vision would continue to grow, while wishing her greater achievements in the years ahead.
“As you mark your birthday, Jemima, may your lens never lack focus, may your content never lack impact, and may your community dream become a global movement,” the statement said.
The Benin Writers Society concluded its message by describing Ajakaiye as “young, focused, creative, and committed to excellence,” while urging her to continue telling stories, building brands and inspiring others.
“Happy Birthday, Jemima Ajakaiye, the Lifestyle Community Builder,” the society said.
