NYSC Batch B stream II corps members have been urged to involve in the combat of climate change, which is currently a core focus for developing countries. At an inter-platoon debate programme supported by OANDO at the orientation camp in Amada, Gombe state.
The debate which held on Monday, had Corps members speak on Climate change and how to curtail it with the theme “Climate Change: Can Youths Curtail the Menace?”
The General Manager of OANDO , represented by Mr Ayo Michael, in his remarks noted that the occasion, though the first of its kind in Gombe, has opened his eyes to the innovation and ingenuity of Corps members.
“We shall continue to support the NYSC Scheme in every way possible by sponsoring a lot of programmes so as to keep Corps members educated” he added.
Winners of the Inter-platoon debate includes Lawal Oluwafemi- GM/19B/ 0583 first position, Ajiboye O Lydia – GM/19B/ 3042 second position, Hassan Omolola- GM/19B/ 2155 third position
