The Speaker of Gombe State House of Assembly Abubakar Ibrahim, on Tuesday denied involvement in the distribution of N-Power forms with his photographs, adding that he does not have any slot whatsoever.
According to the information officer of Gombe State House of Assembly Abubakar Umar, the speaker doesn’t have the acclaimed slots in the on going NPower job.
Umar disclosed this to our correspondent in Gombe.
While calling on the general public to neglect the so so called ‘slots’, adding that it is a scam and that residents should be alert.
“N-Power Forms carrying photograph of the Hon. Speaker Gombe State House of Assembly that are being circulated on the social Media Platforms which are purported to have been issued by the Rt. Hon. Speaker as part of Slots Allocated to him by the Agency for Social Investment Programme.
“It is a scam being perpetrated by scammers and should be disregarded, as the Honourable Speaker has not been allocated any N-Power slot by the Agency,” he said.
