The Speaker, Gombe State House of Assembly Hon. Abubakar Sadiq Ibrahim Kurba on Friday directed all categories of staff of the State House of Assembly to fully return to work from Monday 5th October, 2020.
According to a Press statement which was made available to Periscope Nigeria, by the Chief Information Officer of the House Abubakar Mohammed Umar, the Speaker said Gombe State has recorded appreciable success in the treatment and control of Covid 19 in the State thereby reducing its prevalence and the risk of infection among the populace.
The statement partly states, “Workers of all levels are requested to return and to strictly adhere to the Covid-19 protocol of wearing face mask, physical distancing, constant washing of hands and use of hand sanitizers among others.”
The speaker further
appreciated the efforts of the state governor Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, the State Committee on Covid 19 and all health workers at the front line for successfully battling the pandemic to minimal level in the state.
