A visionary Solitaire
By Adeyemo Samson.
To say a man is sincerely benevolent, infectiously down to earth and over-generous is an understatement to the likes of Hon. Makki Abubakar Yalleman, a ‘first timer’ and the fourth member house of representatives, representing Mallam madori and Kaugama Federal Constituency.
From the character of this man, I have come to learn that hard work can take you to the zenith of life, Hon. Makki Abubakar Yalleman, is perilously a hard worker, known for his passion for exploit, and frighteningly defined by discipline and thoroughness.
In less than two years in office, he has used every given opportunity to provide solutions and reach out to the people in their numbers. I have never met him but his great impact and manifestations in Mallam madori and Kaugama Federal Constituency always get my attention. It is worthy of note that strangely, Hon Makki Abubakar Yalleman is not the president or the executive governor.
Following his achievements and impact to the people, I see how he has positively turn around almost everywhere in Mallam madori and Kaugama Federal Constituency, identifying critical area of interventions, reaching out to the poorest of the poor, and creating a euphoria for his people. I may be wrong, but I have never seen any inspiring representation lately. Instead of sitting complacently in the comfort zones of governance, he is rather always on his heels seeking for solutions to the many problems of his people. In less than two years of stewardship, his achievements cannot be fully listed. He single handedly impacted the people with employment, with no fewer than twenty eight persons in reputable sphere of employment positions. In the area of education, there were construction of classrooms with office block, purchase of not less than one hundred Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Scratch Cards, payment of registration fees for more than two hundred students across the constituency, renovation of Malam madori Students Union Headquarter, the distribution of thirty Laptop Computers to Students and a whole lot of others. Even in the health sector, he distributed one hundred million naira worth of medical equipments and drugs to hospitals in Mallam madori and Kaugama Federal Constituency, donated a brand new microscope to Nuhu Alfa hospital, Dakaiyawa ward, and spent millions of naira for the treatment of many patients within and outside his constituency. In the area of power/electricity supply to his people, massive interventions was made, like the supply and installation of a brand new transformer worth millions of naira to Kamfala Quarters, Mallam madori, Makwalle Quarters, Mallam madori local government area, Marke town, Kaugama local government area, supply and installation of a brand new Transformer to the people of Agin Mallam madori local government area, the reconstruction of Kaugama Electrical Wiring, worth millions of naira, as well as the distribution of Solar Power Street Light at Yalo Kaugama local government area. Water supply was not left out, as he constructed solar powered borehole in Dunari, Mallam madori local government area and also constructed another solar powered water project in Kaugama town. In the area of empowerment, he has given out millions of naira in cash and over a thousand equipments to empower the people in diverse areas of life. If the equipments were to be listed, the flow of ink will run dry. He has also extended his high level of benevolence and magnanimity to the orphanage homes in Yalleman Hausawa and Kaugama respectively, due to his love for humanity. His donations, assistance and contributions towards giving people a better life can never be over emphasized; it is so large to be detailed in a single piece like this. He lives his life to the service of his people as a keen interest. I want to encourage you not to relent on your practical governance. You are only useful to the society only when your potentials benefit humanity. Keep the pace of solutions-oriented representation as the world awaits your greater manifestations.
Permit me sir to celebrate your purposeful existence on a day like this, even though you don’t like been celebrated. The people are grateful to God to have you as their representative. May Allah continue to reward you.
