Commandant Altine formally hands over to Samson Wabulari

Commandant Samson Wabulari, on Friday, officially took over the mantle of leadership of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Gombe State Command.
Wabulari took over from erstwhile Commandant Altine Sani Umar, who has been redeployed.
According to a press statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSC Buhari Saad, the brief ceremony took place at the Command headquarters.
The statement added that the highlight was the signing of the handing over and taking over notes.
Meanwhile, The newly deployed NSCDC Gombe State Commandant Wabulari, had met with Muhammad Umar, the Permanent Secretary Special Services, Security and Political Affairs, at Gombe Government House, after the engagement, the State Commandant was also received in audience by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi.
The State Commandant informed Njodi that he has reported to duty as the State Commandant, NSCDC Gombe State Command.
Responding, Prof. Njodi welcomed and congratulated him on his appointment as the new helmsman of NSCDC in Gombe State.
He said the appointment is timely, adding that he hopes that he will apply his vast knowledge and wealth of experience on the job in eradicating criminal activities to bearest minimum level.

He assured the commandant of the State Government’s maximum support at all times.
