Gombe SSG, canvasses for unity, support ahead of Gov. Yahaya’s tour

Preparatory to Governor Muhammadu Yahaya’s proposed Local Government tour, the Secretary to the State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, on Wednesday, held interactive session with Local Government Councillors, Political leaders stakeholders and professional groups in Gombe South.

In a separate address to the various groups, Professor Njodi harped on the need for continued support to the Governor’s quest to turn around the furturnes of the State for the better.
Njodi charged the All Progressives Congress ( APC) leaders and members across Gombe South to shun any differences but to unite and renew their commitment to the ideal of the party which he said is centred on genuine change.
He also assured that Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya is Committed to fulfilling his campaign promises as evident in completed and ongoing projects across the State.

The SSG further sued for cooperation of members of the APC at Ward, Local Government and Zonal levels pledging his resolve to work towards providing modest party Secretariats in all the Four Local Government Areas that make up Gombe South.
He also told the APC stakeholders that the interactive session will be a continuous one to allow for understanding, confidence building while discussing matters of concern to the Party and the People of Gombe South.
Speaking on behalf of the APC leaders, Comrade Ayuba Hassan, appreciated Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for his laudable programmes in the areas of Education, Road Projects, Healthcare across the region, while pledging their total support for the Governor’s second term bid.

The SSG also took time to convey Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya heart felt sympathy to the Family of Late Malam Jibir Musa who passed on last Saturday.
He prayed God to grant the Family the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost.

That will only create another problems to the southern zone and Gombe state at large. So the advice here, is that the governor should just stay in his comfort zone or he should go for his piece and unity visitation in gombe north and central.
