NYSC Gombe urges PCMs on adherence to rules

Gombe State NYSC Coordinator, Mrs Ada Imoni, on Thursday, urged 2021 Batch B Stream I Prospective Corps Members (PCMs), to comply with camp rules, adding that failure to obey would attract punishment.
She made this disclosure while briefing PCMs on relevant rules and regulations at the temporary orientation camp ground Amada Akko LGA.
According to Imoni, defacement of the NYSC uniform would attract serious sanctions.
She warned that any corps member caught would be dealt with in accordance to the NYSC Act and Byelaws.
” You must note that DISCIPLINE is our watchword on camp . It also applies to your dress code,” she added.
While commenting on camp administration, channel of communication and the camp court, she revealed that NYSC grants relocation on three grounds namely; Health, Marital and Insecurity.
According to her, requests based on security does not apply to Gombe State as it is one of the most secured States in the Northeast.
She maintained that on each grounds, corps members must attach evidence to buttress their claims.
She appealed to the Prospective Corps Members to beware of what they post on social media handles, adding that, “On no account should any corps member post grievances regarding the Scheme on any social media handles as violation of such would attract penalities.”
A minute silence was observed in honour of prospective corps members that lost their lives on Wednesday 28th July ,2021.
