
Super Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations, by beating the Falcon of Sudan 3-1 in the second group state match.
Chukwueze scored in the third minute of the match to open the score sheet for the day, through a direct pass from Moses Simon. The goal by Chukwueze is the fastest goal recorded so far in the tournament.
Coach of the Super Eagles Egwavon, maintained the same formation he used in the first match against the Pharaoh’s of Egypt without substituting any player in the first half of the game. This set of Super Eagles team is described as a team with focus and determination, putting everything they have, to bring out great results.

Taiwo Awoniyi scored his first goal for the super eagles and the second of the match for Nigeria, after a Troost-Ekong’s header, bounced off the striker and beat the Sudanese goalkeeper who gave a poor performance, that couldn’t save the ball from getting into the net.
Moses Simon, who is on top of his game with his brilliant performance so far in the tournament, recorded his name in the score sheet for Nigeria by scoring the last goal for the super eagles in the second half, while Sudan got their consolation goal from the spot after Ola Aina fouled in the penalty box and received a yellow card. VGThe last match of the group stage for Nigeria will be against Guinea Bissau.
