Chronicles of being a light to your generation
The Crass Chronicles of God make me the Joseph of my Generation.
This simple sentence is perceived in religious gatherings as a prayer point and taken in a lax manner.
In book of Genesis a well crafted story was written to give an array of the life of Joseph and the betrayal of his brothers and how this led to his progress and even helping later in the future.
Now for a more detailed explanation and how it tallies with nature.
I will like to break down the true meaning of being a Joseph of one’s generation.
It requires Patience, long suffering, forbearance, perseverance, hope, resilience, strength of will, Intentionality, doggedness, strive to stand alone amidst physical battles, whims and caprices, ability to stand alone and stand your grounds, sacrifices, dejection, reprisal from opponents who are against your” Will for change”.
Many people see being the so called Joseph of their generation as a” mild travail from rags to riches” but indeed its embedded with a torturous journey of unrelenting hope striving for a common good or liberating people, family, sectors, strata from certain evil, malicious, fruit less and disastrous trends.
- Before you hold that prayer point with e temerity there are factors to imbue invariably in one’s Mind.
Recognise strange patterns:take a glimpse into behavioral trends that can cause future doom in any sector you find yourself. - Set boundaries alongside inculcating positive mindset,
This involves making conscious efforts to create a tabula raza state of mind..these are traits I erase and I won’t water them to full blown trees in my mind.expunge them. - Strength of Will; Exert the right force in the right direction,right pace to condemn wrong patterns, trends, behavior that cause rot and decay in the nearest future: Expunge them.
- Align with positive minds clamoring for positivity In all fonts.
- Practice prayer with faith and good works.
From the heart of man arises all issues of life…to be that change;to be a driving positive force; to be a well balanced fulcrum we need to have a well built mindset.
So before we pray to be that high elevated Joseph who surmounted all his travails we must make conscientious efforts.
We can actually be the Joseph of Nigeria with collective efforts.
Be that impact, set that pace and reach that apogee.
