Council of Community leaders pay Gombe State SA on Inter- Community Relations Visit

Special Adviser to Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, on Inter-Community Relations, Prince Chidebulu Ewuzie, has disclosed to the Council of Community Leaders made up of 13 tribal groups in the state, the essence of launching of its official APC Inter – Community Relations office.

He said it would give identities to different ethnicities residing in Gombe State.
The Special Adviser explained that the Inter – Community Relations Office situated in Gombe Metropolis would serve as engine room to various bodies and groups between them and the State Government under the leadership of Governor Yahaya.
He further advised them to support Yahaya considering the conducive environment provided, peaceful co-existence the people are enjoying in the state and the massive infrastructural development scattered all over the state within the three and half years of his governance.

On the issues of 2nd edition of cultural carnival in the state by the Association, the SA cautioned that the festival should be well organised to the level that the proposed invitees should be willing to attend considering the fact that the government at all levels are entering into the peak of campaigning any moment the Electoral empire lifts up the electioneering campaigns in the country.
Ewuzie advised that the cultural festival should not be like the first edition that was not too good with poor attendance.
Earlier, the Leader of the delegation who is also the Sarkin Margi, Chief Jacob Gadzama informed the Special Adviser on Inter-Community Relations that the Executive Leaders of Council of Community leaders in Gombe State made up of 13 tribal groups in the state has proposed to launch the maiden edition of 2022 Almanac during which some deserving Nigerians including top Government Functionaries would be honoured at the occasion scheduled to hold on 5th November,2022 at Gombe State International Stadium.
According to them, one of those to be honoured is the State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for providing conducive environment, appointing some of their own into various political positions and the provision of infrastructural and social amenities in the state.
The leader of the delegation who is the Chairman of Almanac Committee further explained that various groups of different ethnicities in the state have agreed to organize a befitting cultural festival this year in order to showcase different cultures, costumes, different continental dishes, different cultural dances that makes Nigeria unique, indivisible and unifying nationalities that promotes unity in diversity.
The Sarkin Margi who also retired as Manager of Federal Mortgage Bank appealed to the Special Adviser to ensure that he helped them to invite his colleagues at the launching and to provide assistance where necessary to them as they put up their best to the success of the event.
