North-East Committee meets ahead of Governors’ Forum in Gombe
Ahead of the 7th North-East Governors Forum meeting scheduled to hold in Gombe, on Friday, the Secretary to Gombe State Government, Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, has led other SSGs’ to a technical working committee meeting.

Welcoming the technical working committee members, Njodi who doubles as the Chairman of North-East SSGs’ forum said Gombe State Government had put in place all necessary logistics needed for a successful and hitch-free meeting.
Njodi also assured them that in view of the prevailing security challenges across the country the state government has put in place adequate security measures to forestall ugly situations.
The SSG further commended them for their sustained commitment and support to tackling development challenges of the region through the North-East Governors’ Forum.
Earlier fielding questions from news men, Njodi said, “the technical working committee is mandated to work out the Agenda as well as ensure that all papers and minutes are well prepared for tomorrow’s (Friday’s) meeting.”
Present at the technical working Committee’s meeting are the SSG of Adamawa Malam Bashir Ahmed, representative of the DG North East Governors’ forum and members representing various states of the region.
