As Kano prepares to host one of the highest Exhibition programme titled ‘Saudi Exhibition’, not less than 75 companies are expected to come to the state from the kingdom of Saudi Arabia to showcase their products.

According to a statement obtained by PERISCOPE NIGERIA, which was signed by Balarabe Abdullahi, Director Public Enlightenment, this was disclosed while briefing the Director General Kano Investment Promotion Agency Hajiya Hama Ali Aware, on the exhibition yesterday, the Executive Director of AL-Yaro International Company based in Saudi Arabia, Mr. Imran Umar Yahaya Yaro, noted that they decided to host the event in Kano due to its vast investment opportunities.

 

” We are expecting 75 different companies from Saudi Arabia in which people even started participating from Saudi Arabia by booking on behalf their respective companies.

” The exhibition is going to last for two days and during the second day, there is going to be a panel to discuss on the investment opportunities under five selected areas that include Agriculture, Health, Education, Industry and Tourism while the speakers will come from Nigeria and Saudi Arabia,” he added.

Yaro explained that with cooperation of KANinvest, their team would arrange a befitting showroom to showcase Saudi and Nigeria products for the interest of the teeming participants.

He pointed out that the most important thing is not just for the investors to visit Kano but to come and invest in the state which according to him, has a unique quality in terms of investment opportunities.

” We are going to do a Book on Kano investment which will reflect all the investment opportunities in Kano and that will allow investors to benefit from the state potentials economically,” Yaro revealed.

He further solicited for the full cooperation and support of Kano State Government to ensure that the Programme succeeded, stressing that similar Saudi exhibition exercise held in Abuja few years ago and was said to be well attractive.

Responding, the Director General Kano Investment Promotion Agency Aware, stated that Kano State is not only going to support the exhibition  exercise but would actively participate to offer the best investment opportunities to the participants.

She assured that her Agency would be ready to support the programme by providing an enabling environment to achieve success of the programme.

“I am glad to inform you that Kano Investment Promotion Agency is saddled with responsibility to promote, facilitate and encourage investors to come and invest in the state, so feel free, we are giving you all the necessary support to get the best,” said Hama.

The Director General said Kano remains one of the most peaceful state in Nigeria and that continue to attract more investors from and beyond.

Our Correspondent reports that the Saudi exhibition in Kano is expected to hold early December  2022.
