Sabinus allegedly snubs Oko Polytechnic Students after N5m payment
Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly known as Mr Funny -Sabinus, has been called out by Some students of Oko Polytechnic Ekwulobia, Anambra State.
The students on Friday claimed that Sabinus, failed to show up for the event slated on Thursday after logistics and preparation totalling about 5million naira had been done.
In a live video on Facebook monitored by our Correspondent, Sister Ewutos, claimed that Sabinus promised to be in attendance.
He disclosed that many fans left the show disappointed with some of them beating and threatening the organisers.
According Ewutos, “Sabinus should have told us he is not coming and we would have cancelled the show than the embarrassment. Our lives are at risk at the moment.”
Ewutos, who noted that they would press charges against Sabinus, stressed that this case won’t be like that of Kiss Daniel who failed to show up for a show in an African country recently.
He stated that Oko Polytechnic Students were more volatile that Lagos or any other part, alluding that this won’t go like others Sabinus was alleged to have avoided after collecting payment.
“This one no like Kiss Daniel, own. Oko Polytechnic Students are different we are not also like Lagos. This is not like the one he did with others,” Ewutos added.
Reacting, Sabinus took to his Instagram story to state that his health issues prevented him from attending the event.
The comedian said, “Good morning my Oko people. I know say una dey vex for me. Abeg make una no vex. I was supposed to come to Oko yesterday for the show with Crazylegs.
“Something happened. My health was so bad. I just avoided the whole thing. I was being just afraid of make I no break down for road.”
He promised to come for the event before the first week of December, as he also offered to refund the money if Crazylegs wants it.
