Gombe DG Due Process, bags Integrity Icon Award
The Director General Due Process Bureau Gombe State Mohammed Babayola, was among few Nigerians that got awarded the 2022 Integrity Award by accountability Lab, an International Leadership Organisation.
Presenting the award to Mohammed Babayola the Country Director of Accountability Lab Mr.Odeh Friday, said the recipient got the better of the organisation base on his unblemish record in fostering Accountability honesty and transparency in Government business.
Reacting to the honour, elated Director General Due Process Gombe State Babayola, thanked Accountability Lab for the award noting that the award is moral booster to do more in the discharge of his duties.
He therefore dedicated the award to the Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for confidence he reposed in him and the government and people of Gombe State for their support and encouragement.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that in 2021, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya through the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi wrote a commendation letter to the Director General Mohammed Babayola, for his hard work, dedication to duty, transparency and accountability.
The Director General Due Process Bureau was awarded alongside Malyn Abdu Buba, a legal practitioner with the State Ministry of justice Gombe.
Meanwhile, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has felicitated with the two indigenes of the State who bagged the 2022 Integrity Award, describing it as well deserved considering their track record in public service.
