Make Positive Impact In Your Host Communities, Imoni Urges Batch C Stream II
The Gombe State NYSC Coordinator, Ada Imoni, has counselled the 2022 Batch ‘C’ Stream II Corps members on good conduct as they prepare for their places of Primary assignment.

Imoni, while debriefing the Corps members at NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp Amada, Gombe State, advised them to mingle well with members of their host Communities, initiate and execute viable projects and leave lasting legacies to be remembered by.

Speaking on the general elections, the State Coordinator said the nation would be counting on them for free, fair and credible elections,come 2023.

“Although participation will not be compulsory, the NYSC will not take lightly any Corps member engaging in partisan politics or dragging the good name of the Scheme in the mud. It is pertinent, you remain apolitical throughout the national assignment,” she added.

Imoni, also informed them that arrangements had been concluded with Gombe Line and Gombawa motors to convey Corps members to their places of Primary assignment and States of relocation as they case may be.
She said, “Vehicles will be on camp on Tuesday to convey you to your places of Primary assignment or States of relocation. It is advised that you break your journey if need be at NYSC Corps lodges, Military or Police Barracks. No Corps member should travel beyond 6PM for his or her safety.”
The State Coordinator also advised them to avoid embarking on unnecessary journeys in the course of the service year.
“You must obtain permission from the State Coordinator through to field officers before embarking on any journey outside your state of deployment,” She said
Speaking on self reliance, Mrs Imoni, advised them to continue the post camp training with their various trainers in order to be masters of their chosen skills and Employers of labour.
Others issues discussed include; Not granting press interview, posting of videos or pictures on social media , hate speech , monthly biometrics clearance, channel of Communication and security among other things.
