Pictorial: NSCDC Decorates 173 Officers, men in Gombe

No fewer than 173 officers and men have been decorated by Waziri Goni, State Commandant, Nigeria Security And Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Gombe State Command.

The decorated are the 2019 newly recruited officers and men as approved and directed by the Commandant General Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi.


Speaking on Friday during the decoration which held at the State Command Headquarters Conference Hall Gombe, Goni urged the decorated officers and men to be dutiful at all times without fear or favour and apolitical in discharging their duties.
According to the Commandant, “the decoration is in line with regimentation order, having recognised your hard work and commitments.”
He also encouraged the newly decorated officers and me “to brace up for more responsibilities ahead,” Goni added.

Speaking earlier, the Head of training and manpower development DCC Mannir Mohammed, charged them to contribute more to the system.
Mohammed also urged them to be distinct in the service.
Delivering the vote of thanks on behalf of the newly decorated officers ASC II Jeremiah Samuel, lauded NSCDC management for the trainings, and approving their decoration.
While commending the anked Commandant for his exemplary leadership style and guidance, he pledged on behalf of his set to give their best, “We will continue to put in our best in service to our fatherland,” Samuel added.
