Zamfara State Gov Mourns Ibrahim Marafa
The Governor of Zamfara State, Bello Mohammed, has described the death of an elder State Man, seasoned educationist and administrator per excellence, Alhaji Ibrahim Bagobiri Talata Mafara as monumental loss to the State.

The Governor stated this in a statement made available by his press secretary Jamilu Magaji, on Sunday while condoling with the family of the deceased at his resident in the GRA, Gusau, the state capital.
Mohammed described the deceased as great gentle man, a technocrat , historian, an administrator of repute and politician who contributed to the development of both Sokoto and Zamfara states.
He said that late Ibrahim Bagobiri contributed immensely to the development of education in Zamfara state even before its creation to date.
He noted that he assisted the illustrious sons and daughters of Zamfara State in different levels of their education, career and political development respectively.
Mohammed prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased of his shortcomings and grant his family, the entire people of Zamfara state the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
During the condolence visit, Governor Matawalle donated ten million Naira Cash 20 bags of Rice and 20 bags of other assorted grains to the family of the deceased.
The Governor was accompanied on the condolence visit by the Speaker Zamfara State House of Assembly, Right Hon. Nasiru Muazu Magarya, Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Kabiru Balarabe Sardauna, Chief of Staff Government House, Malam Ibrahim Suleiman, State Head of Service, Alhaji Kabiru Muhammad Gayari, members of the state Executive Council, Special Advisers, Permanent Secretaries, as well as Heads of Ministries Department Agencies and, other Senior Government officials.
