Gombe South APC Campaign Council Visits Kaltungo LGA, canvasses for massive support to the Party Candidates
…receives rousing welcome amidst chants of “APC Ko Gezau”
In continuation of its campaign for massive votes in the zone, the Gombe South APC Campaign Council Visits wards in Kaltungo Local Government Area.
The Chairman of the Council, and Deputy Governor of Gombe State, Manassah Daniel Jatau, appreciated the massive turn-out of the people in the area describing it as an honour to them and the party.
Jatau noted that the stalwarts of the APC in Gombe South have decided to go out together as a symbol of unity of the entire area, so as to send the message of unity, love and togetherness.
He said “unlike before, we the top notches of the APC from Gombe South, which is the same as Tangale-Waja, have decided to tour the zone together to show the people that we are united, and that we now speak with one voice. This is because we believe that when we are united, we will achieve a lot in our pursuits of development.
” We have all the Contestants from the zone here, and we also have the Honourable Commissioners, as well as the Special Advisers. Infact all the great men and women of APC from Gombe South are here to solicit for your votes. We believe you will give us your support so that we shall continue the good projects we have started and also initiate other projects for the socio-economic development of Tangale-Waja.
” Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has, by virtue of his performance in the state, shown us that he has a great interest in transforming the lives of the people in the state. May I therefore solicit for your voters for the APC in all the respective offices from the President down to the Members of the State House of Assembly. When you give us the trust, we will never disappoint you,” he added.
He then introduced, Senator Joshua Lidani as the Senatorial Candidate, Honourable Simon Elisha Karu, and Victor Mela Danzaria as the candidates for Kaltungo- Shongom and Billiri-Balanga Federal Constituency, and members of respective constituencies in the state House of Assembly.
The Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi who is also the Campaign Director-General of the Council in the zone appreciated the support given by the people to the APC stressing that it is only the APC that will meet the yearnings and aspirations of the people of Gombe South.
He urged them to mobilise more support for the party in the forthcoming general elections for them to continue to enjoy the good governance and adequate representation by the Party Candidates in Nigeria and Gombe State.
In their separate speeches, party’s Senatorial Candidate, Senator Joshua Lidani, and the House of Representatives Candidates Hon.Simon Karu, and Hon. Victor Danzaria urged the people to be wary of fraudulent politicians who would only want to deceive the people into voting for them through fake promises.
The Campaign Council visited Bwele, in Wange, Bambam in Tula Yiri Ward, Lakweme, in Kaltungo East, Ture Balam,in Ture Ward, and Lafiya, in Baule Central.
Other Wards visited include, Sabongari, in Bule- Kaltin Ward Garinkorau,in Awak Ward, Shenge- Shenge-, in Kamo Ward, Wili in Tungo Ward, and Kalorgu in Kaltungo West.
