A Pan-African certified Criminologist and Security professional, Musa Ali-Maishanu, has faulted the outgoing administration of Muhammadu Buhari, saying its policies unfavourable to the poor.
Ali-Maishanu noted that the Buhari’s administration was most favourable to the rich, describing the outgoing administration as hell to the poor.
The security expert made this disclosure in a chat with our correspondent in Gombe.
“In summary, President Muhammadu Buhari will be remembered by the world as a tool of exploitation that creates a paradise for the rich and hell to the poor in Nigerian political scene,” Ali-Maishanu said.
He disclosed that the counter-terrorism approach of the outgoing administration failed woefully, calling on citizens to put a stop the overwhelming challenges
Ali-Maishanu added, “The so-called PDP and APC counter-insurgency campaigns cannot counter insecurity in Nigeria and re-establish a law and social order in Nigeria. Because their counter-insurgency campaigns through military aspects has become ineffective and insufficient. Therefore, all Nigerians should note that the so-called insurgency and terrorism can only be defeated by you and I through the use of Nationwide protests and grassroots mobilisation model of resistance against insurgents and terrorists state creation in Nigeria in expense of egalitarian Nigerian society.
“But the abhorrence of insurgency and terrorism should not be allowed to stand in the way of probing the reasons for its continuities, escalations, massacres and growth in our polity and routine activities as well as causes of the failure of security forces to snuff out the menaces despite all the deadly, kidnappings, abductions, ransoms, sophisticated weapons at its disposal and billions of naira allocated to the fruitless and unpleasant counter-insurgency campaign in our budgets.”
