Why Umo Eno will not inherit Akwa Ibom’s enemies

 by Enobong Inyang

The ugly political event going on in Akwa Ibom for a long time now has portrayed Akwaibomites to the outside world as enemy of themselves with a pull him down syndrome, proud people and thus hindering the needed smooth synergy between the State and the Federal Government which could have attracted more developmental strides and economic benefits to the teeming poor masses of the state.

However, except for the few rumor-mongers and blackmailers who consistently launch attack on the personality and integrity of Godswill Akpabio, as they see the infighting of the government with Akpabio as lucrative business in the Government House, hence, they exploited Governor Udom Emmanuel of our hard earned money by spreading rumors, blackmails and fake news to tarnish the image of Akpabio.

Since on the 8th of August 2018 anything concerning Akpabio is a taboo to the outgoing Government and to gain favour one must join the bandwagon of the media boys to attack Akpabio which I can authoritative say I stood out from them and refused to play such dirty politics. So those of us who are projecting and promoting Akpabio’s senate presidency are being victimised and considered enemy of the government this is a man who fought tooth and nail to install Udom as the Governor of Akwa Ibom.

Pastor Umo Eno having understood what it took the incumbent Governor to install him and the consequences of turning against such a person should not welcome any mediocrity to his government, all those men that lack ideas must be far away from the Hilltop Mansion.

Therefore, the incoming Governor,  Eno must resist the temptations of inheriting people’s enemies… rather he should face his administration with honesty of purpose without rancor and infighting because it will bring Akwaibomites together for peace and reconciliation no matter the political affiliation.

This action will be a welcome development and will gladden the heart of masses who will see the incoming Governor as a man of peace that means well for the overall development of Akwa Ibom State.

Soon after the inauguration tomorrow, followed by thanksgiving and dedication service we are hopeful the next action should gear towards Bringing OUR THREE LEADERS TOGETHER, Obong Victor Attah, Chief Godswill Akpabio and Deacon Udom Emmanuel.

If possible the incoming Governor Pst Umo Eno should openly declare support for Akpabio Senate Presidency this will make the Governor win the hearts of many Akwaibomites, Nigerians at large and those in diaspora thus disappointing those enemies of progress who were planning to use Akpabio’s name to gain appointments and contracts.

It is on good record that Eno did not insult or malign Akpabio’s name throughout the campaigns that alone makes him to standout innocently in the eyes of the people which cannot be said about those who contested the Governorship ticket and subsequent election with him. Is God that brought out Eno and showed him mercy because the plan of those who insulted Akpabio was to succeed Governor Udom Emmanuel, anyway God knows how to put people in their rightful place and all of them who climbed the podium in 2019 to castigate Akpabio who made them what they were at that time are suffering from the consequences of their actions, I don’t even want to talk about the recent one that took place in Kkot ekpene senatorial district election, because everybody now knows where they belong.

To God be the glory Akpabio, is going higher everyday and those who waged unnecessary war against him are looking up and seeing him rapt up with pride and glory.

Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm is biblical inscription that tells the story in a better perspective….

So Akpabio we know will never fight Eno or any interest of Akwa Ibom State at the National.

Apparently, Both leaders will have a robust working relationship to attract Federal Government presence to Akwa Ibom State and collaborate in making IBOM DEEP SEAPORT and INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT a reality.

These sectors plus the Tourism industry will boost our state more as many visitors and businessmen will come into Akwaibom to do business therefore we cannot overemphasise the imperative and benefits of Pst Umo Eno having a good working relationship together with Akpabio the incoming senate President and number three citizen of the country.

Peace is priceless and will cost us nothing but inheriting a fight with Akpabio will cost the state a capital flight and sleepless night to the incoming Governor while those instigating the fight will be smiling to the bank.

May God grant our leaders peace, love and wisdom to lead the state to its promise land.
