“The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), was established on May 22,1973. By implications, the corps would be 50 years on the 22 of this month and that is why we are marching in it honour.

“This exercise is know as unity March, it is to creat awareness to Nigerians of the occasion. The aim of the corps is to achieve national unity and I wish to express here that the corps has done great in that regard.
“National unity can not be achieved in one day, it’s a long time project that young Nigerians who are corps members must continue to take as a priority. I wish to encourage corps members serving in Taraba state to put in their best to actualize the corps desire for national unity.
“I must note here that the NYSC scheme has positively impacted to the Nigerian community by attracting capacity building for youth and the unity of the citizens. This March is the first among activities that would be holding before the main day which is May, 22. 2023,” The state coordinator explained.
