Gombe gov appoints 10-man Advisory Committee
Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, has appointed a 10-man state honourary advisory committee.
According to a press statement issued on Wednesday by the Information Officer, office of the Secretary to the State Government Joshua Danmalam, the appointment is with immediate effect.
The committee which has eminent Gombe citizens as members has Professor Idris Mohammed, a Life Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine (UK), a former Chief Medical Director of the University of Maiduguri as Chairman.
Others are; Dr Ibrahim Jalo Daudu, Alh. Muhammad Kabir Ahmad, Professor Baba Yusuf Abubakar, Dr M.I. Jimeta, Prof. Fatima Sawa, Engineer Saidu Aliyu Mohammed, Arc. Suleiman Moh’d Kumo, Engineer Abubakar Bappah – Member and Dr Mu’azu Shehu, as Secretary.
“The appointments take immediate effect,” the statement added.
