Gombe Gov reappoints SSG, DG Press Affairs
The Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, has reappointed Professor Ibrahim Njodi, as Secretary to State Government and Ismaila Misilli, Director-General Press Affairs Government House and Dr Mu’azu Shehu, Director-General Research and Documentation.
According to a press statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of Gombe Government House Barrister Balarabe Poloma, all the appointments take immediate effect.
Prior to Njodi’s initial appointment in 2019 he was an erstwhile Vice Chancellor of University of Maiduguri and Misilli was in the National Assembly as media officer.
The statement partly read, “His Excellency, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON, (Dan Majen Gombe) Governor, Gombe State has approved the following appointments:Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, Secretary to the State Government ( SSG), Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director- General (Press Affairs), Dr Mu’azu Shehu, Director-General ( Research and Documentation).
“All the appointments are with effect from 1st June, 2023.”
