ANA Osun mourns Abolade Abeje Adeoti’s demise
The Association of Nigerian Authors, Osun State chapter, has extended its deepest condolences to Professor Gbemisola Adeoti and his family on the passing of his beloved wife, Late Mrs Abolade Abeje Adeoti (Nee Elebuibon).
Nikeagbeja Adesanya, Chairman of the Caretaker Committee, ANA Osun State Chapter, expressed heartfelt sympathy on behalf of the association, in a statement obtained by PERISCOPE NIGERIA.
“With heavy hearts, we join in the grief of the Adeoti family during this difficult time.
“Late Mrs. Abolade Abeje Adeoti will always be remembered for her warmth and kindness. Her unwavering support for her husband’s pursuits in literature and her dedication to fostering a love for the written word will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched.
“As a pillar of strength and inspiration to many, her absence will be deeply felt by the ANA community in Osun State and beyond. We are profoundly grateful for the positive impact she had on the lives of numerous individuals within the literary sphere.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with Prof. Gbemisola Adeoti and his entire family during this time of profound loss. We pray that God grants the soul of the departed eternal rest and offers solace and strength to the grieving family she leaves behind.”
The ANA, Osun State chapter, noted that they stand united in offering support and love to Professor Gbemisola Adeoti and his family as they navigate through this period of bereavement.
“We encourage the literary community and well-wishers to come together in remembering the legacy of Late Mrs. ABOLADE ABEJE ADEOTI and celebrating her remarkable life.
“May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory continue to inspire the pursuit of literary excellence amongst us all,” the press statement added.
