Ex-Women Affairs Minister urges men to love their wives

Former Minister of Women Affairs Pauline Tallen on Monday advised men to love and show their wives the needed love and support.
Tallen was a former Minister under the administration of the immediate past administration led by Muhammadu Buhari

She made the remarks in Gombe during the inauguration of a Medical Centre, donated by Jennifer Etuh’s Foundation in Tula, Kaltungo Local Government Area of Gombe State.
According to her, the deceased husband Thomas Etuh, had shown the needed love and support to his late wife Jennifer, by following her desire to establish medical centre across the six geopolitical zones.
She said, “Men should emulate from Mr Thomas Etuh of loving their wives, after three years that his wife died he is carrying on with her legacies of providing health services to the poor and vulnerable, this was her last wish.”
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Foundation Etuh, noted that the Medical Centre built in Gombe, was the fourth since the organisation commenced attempt to honour his wife’s wish of providing health services to poor and vulnerable.
He said, “by the grace of God, Jennifer Etuh Foundation has carried out this vision, we commissioned the first Medical Centre in Odu in Kogi State on the 26th of January 2022, the second in Kagoro, Kaduna State on the 11th of July 2022, the third in Ifewara, Osun State on 26th of April 2023, the fourth Medical Centre is being commissioned on her posthumous birthday today, here in Tula, Gombe State.”
