Gombe condoles with Lalabe’s over death of matriarch
The Secretary to Gombe State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, has visited one of his long time friend Honourable Panus Lalabe Cham, at his Buba Shongo residence to commiserate with him over the demise of his beloved mother late Gamalila Lalabe, who passed on in her sleep in the early hours of Sunday 13th July 2023 at the age of 94.
Njodi who conveyed Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s condolences message to the bereaved enjoined the Lalabe’s to take solace in the fact that the deceased lived a fulfilled life and prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He described Late Mama Lalabe as God fearing and a great mentor having Mothered the likes of Honourable Panus Lalabe and several others during her lifetime.
Late Mama Gamalila Lalabe according to family sources will be laid to rest in her hometown Cham Balanga LGA, on Thursday 27th July, 2023.
Responding on behalf of the family, Lalabe thanked the SSG and the Government of Gombe State for identifying with them in their moment of grieve.
