Gombe Deputy Gov attends burial of immediate past Provost, Federal College of Education ( Technical)
…conveys condolence message of Governor and Government of Gombe State to the family
Following the demise of immediate past Provost Federal College of Education (Technical) Gombe, Dr Adamu Gimba Abass, his remains were committed to mother earth after a funeral prayer at Central Mosque near Emir’s Palace, Gombe on Wednesday.

The Deputy Governor Dr Manassah Jatau, joined thousands of sympathisers to perform the funeral prayer for God to have mercy on the deceased soul and grant him Aljanna Firdaus.

The Deputy Governor conveyed the heartfelt sympathy of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, Government and people of the state over the death of their loved one.
He said, the deceased served Nigeria and humanity meritoriously leaving landmark achievements to be remembered for but lamented that he died at a time when his advised would be needed to address some of the challenges affecting education and humanity.
Jatau described the deceased as an erudite educationist and administrator, committed humanitarian, and a devote Muslim who impacted positively on humanity while alive.

He said, the deceased has exhausted his lifetime as allocated to him by God, and as it is with all humanity to taste death, he has returned to his creator.
He called on the family, well wishers and sympathizers to continue to pray for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
Jatau seized the opportunity to condole the immediate past State Accountant- General, Alh. Umar Babagoro, who is a brother to the deceased, urging him and the other members of the family to accept the death as an act of God.
The deceased left behind two wives, nine children, relations and well wishers to mourn him.
