Oba celebrity native doctor Akwaọkụkọ Tiwara akị, was reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen on Sunday.
In a whatsapp broadcast message pleading for prayers that would ensure the safety of the rich native doctor.
Our correspondent reports that the incident reportedly occured on Sunday night at his hotel.
According to the message, two bodyguards were said to have been killed during the attack.
Akwaọkụkọ Tiwara akị, has been in the news for ascribing the wealth of some known and unknown persons in the society to his divine assistance using what he described as okin ete, use of pots to ensure their wealth.
He had allegedly claimed that preparation of okin ete (pots) required millions of naira.
“Pray for Akwaọkụkọ Tiwara akị, as news reaching us has it that the young nwadibia from Oba in Idemili South, Anambra state was kidnapped on Sunday night in his hotel. Two security guards were also reportedly killed by armed men who invaded the terrain amidst massive gunfire on Sunday,” the message said.
