The Secretary to Government of the State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, gave the indication on Friday, when he played host to the new Executive Committee of the state chapter of the Nigeria Bar Association led by its branch Chairman Barrister Benjamin Sati.
Njodi said the curfew is just an aspect of security strategies being deployed by the government in collaboration with the security agencies to curb rising rate of crime and criminality in the state especially in Gombe metropolitan, adding that “as soon as the situation improves, government will consider it’s possible review,” he said.
The SGS also commended the state branch of NBA for it’s commitment towards supporting government’s resolve to ensure speedy dispensation of justice and upliftment of the rule of law.

Njodi further appreciated the legal body for acknowledging Yahaya administration’s drive in law reforms as evidenced in the domestication of the Child Rights Act and the ongoing review of area court laws.
He expressed the state government willingness to work closely with the Judicial Arm of Government to ensure seamless synergy that would expedite development of the state and charge them to carry all members along.
