Jamila: NYP Speaker lauds Tinubu on youth inclusion
The Speaker of the Nigerian Youth Parliament Rt. Hon. (Dr) Azeezat Yishawu, has commended President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his policy to include and engage youths in governance.

The Speaker made the commendation, while congratulating Tinubu over the nomination of Dr Jamila Bio Ibrahim, as Minister of Youth, and Mr Ayodele Olawande as Minister of State for Youth, pending their confirmation by the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The congratulatory message signed by Yishawu, read partly, “I’m extremely proud of the decisions of His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for changing the narratives by including a good percentage of young people to his cabinet– which bring hopes and confidence among youth.
“The nomination of 37 years old, Dr Jamila Bio Ibrahim and 35years old, Ayodele Olawande as the Honourable Ministers of Youth and State of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, respectively is commendable and the first of its kind in the country.
“President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has earned recognition for including many youth and women in his cabinet making a reasonable percentage.”
She further expressed her appreciation for the kind gesture of the President, while urging Nigerian youths to join hands and support the administration of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which has so far demonstrated readiness to bring many youths closer to the government through inclusion.

“When young people have the opportunity to serve the country at an early age, It will give them an avenue to contribute with their innovative ideas and it will build a bridge for preparation of intergenerational transition,” she said.
