Taraba Govt donates N9.5m, mattresses to NYSC
In a bid to promote the welfare of corps members in the state, the governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, through the State Ministry of Youths and Sports Development led by the commissioner Ambassador Joseph Joshua, and the Permanent Secretary, Honourable Indo Mackson, donated 500 pieces of mattresses and a sum of 9.5million naira for augmentation of food for the officials and corps members.

Having suffered looting in the past, the camp was in dire need of support and the governor responded swiftly by making the donations in order to reorganise the camp.
In view of that, Kefas also set up machines saddled with the responsibility of catering for and ensuring the comfort of corps members posted to the state.
The Commissioner, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Directors and staff of the ministry presented and handed over the donated items to the camp director.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that jubilation from the serving Corps members rent the air on camp.
The presentation ceremony took place at the NYSC permanent orientation camp in Sibre, Ardo Kola Local Government Area of the state.
