The National Youth Service Corps 2023 Batch “C” Stream II is expected to receive no fewer than 1,837 Prospective Corps Members for its compulsory three-week orientation course in Gombe State, on Friday.
Our correspondent reports that the course is scheduled to hold at the NYSC temporary orientation camp, Science Technical College, Amada, Akko Local Government Area of the state.

According to a statement signed by Head, Public Relations Unit Jennifer Laha, on behalf of the state Coordinator Dawut Jidda, on Thursday urged for support for the PCMs from residents especially camp neighbours.
The statement disclosed that the Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya would preside the swearing-in ceremony, while the Chief Judge Justice Halima Mohammed administers the oath of allegiance.
“The Formal opening / Swearing – in ceremony comes up on Tuesday, 28th November, 2023 at 10:00am. The Executive Governor of Gombe State, His Excellency, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON is expected to preside over the event, while the Chief Judge of the State will administer the Oath of Allegiance on the Corps Members deployed to the State for national service.
“We therefore, enjoin the Peace loving people of Gombe State especially those around Akko LGA and environs to accord the Corps Members the usual hospitality that Gombe State is known for.
“Thank you for your usual cooperation especially in the coverage of NYSC activities in Gombe State,” the statement partly read.
