The Niger State Governor, Mohammed Bago has charged security agencies in the country not to be dampened by the recent bombing of Kaduna State communities
saying it was an unintentional incident.
Noting that it was rather unfortunate, Bago said he was saddened by the unpleasant tragedy.
The governor conveyed his condolences to the Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani and the people of Kaduna State in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary Bologi Ibrahim on Wednesday
According to him, “I am deeply saddened by this unfortunate and unpleasant accident. I, on behalf of all the people of Niger State, share in your moment of grief, may Allah comfort you all and grant the departed souls Aljannah Firdausi.
“I sympathise with my Kaduna State counterpart, Senator Uba Sani and all the people of the State over the unintentional bomb explosions that led to the death of many people,”he said..
Bago appealed to relevant authorities to carry out a proper investigation to avert reoccurrence while calling on the security agencies not to be dampened by the incident but to remain steadfast in their fight against all forms of criminalities in the country.
A tragic incident was said to have occurred recently in Kaduna when some Muslim Ummah were celebrating Maulud and they were unintentionally harmed by a military drone targeting terrorists and bandits in the area, an incident that resulted in many deaths and some injuries.
