The Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lobi Stars Football Club, Dominic Iorfa, on Monday evening hosted staff and players of the club for merriment to mark the New Year celebration at his residence in Makurdi, Benue State.
Iorfa while delivering his opening speech thanked Governor Hyacinth Alia, His Deputy and the club Chairman, Barr. Sam Ode, Commissioner for Youths, Sports, and Creativity, Rt. Hon. Terkimbi Ikyange, Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly Hon. Aondona Dajoh, staff and players for their immense contribution that has led to the club successes.
The CEO while calling for sustainability, stressed the need for love, peace and focus, calls for discipline and hard work among players and urged them to always listen to their coaches.
Responding on behalf of the players, Danbani Alao, thanked the Vice Chairman for his words of encouragement and promised to redouble their efforts to get more results.
