Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, on Thursday, said Kano State is important to the political fortunes of the governing party, the All Progressives Congress.
Uzodinma who doubles as Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum made this disclosure following the ongoing reconciliation sanctioned by President Bola Tinubu.
Periscope Nigeria reports that the party Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, has since commenced moves to reconcile the APC with New Nigeria Peoples Party as the state is currently governed by Abba Yusuf of the NNPP.
He said “Kano is not only important to APC but to Nigeria, so it’s an important state for all of us. NNPP is a political party. The APC is a political party.
“The most important thing is the interest of Nigerians and the people.”
