The General Overseer Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, says more corruption scandals would be public in the near future.
Adeboye stated this on Sunday at the church’s monthly thanksgiving service monitored by our correspondent.
He was speaking on the topic ‘Let the wind blow’, adding that for business owners whom are already closing shops it would mark the beginning of fresh and desirable tidings.
According to the clergy, those with dirty secrets should endeavour to confess, stressing that the wind would blow open different sides depending on your divide.
“When the wind blows whether it blows in your favour or not depends on whose side you are on because the wind that blew and opened the way for the children of Israel is also the wind that drowned Pharaoh and his hosts.
“The wind that is blowing in Nigeria that is already exposing some level of corruption we didn’t know existed before the same wind can blow prosperity into some lives. Many a times, it’s when things are hard that God’s children prosper on whose side are you, are you on the side of the lord or you are against him,” Adeboye said.
The revered cleric who had earlier prophesied during 2024 crossover service about certain wind which he pointed out that Nigeria would experience stressed that following the wind there would be exposition to secrets.
He said, “Things will get worse before it gets better; the good news is that the wind is already blowing. Because the wind is blowing secrets will come to the open.”
Adeboye urged members not to lose hope, adding that “sooner or later things will improve. Some of us can’t Japa, whether we like it or not.”
Adeboye who noted that he is not a prophet but a mere pastor, stressed while disclosing expectations for individuals said, “those who started year 2024 with nothing before the end will become significant. There will be opportunities, get ready the wind is blowing.”
The General Overseer while bemoaning the current hardship urged congregation to pray to God, “And say have mercy on us let the downward turn end very quickly. When things get worse it’s innocent people like you and I who will suffer. It doesn’t matter how much they are changing dollar for now there are people secured where they are; the governor doesn’t need to know how much they sell petrol or the quantity that will fill his tank, if he wants to go out he just gets up and go out. The president doesn’t need to know how much they sell bread his business is to stand up, go to the table and eat. It’s common people like you and I who can tell that at the beginning of the year this how much they are selling rice but today this how much they are selling,” Adeboye added.
