Barrister Boss Mustapha, has made an appearance at Wukari, the headquarters of Kwararrafa kingdom in Taraba State, to receive an honorary Doctorate Degree in Law from the Federal University of Wukari.


Ahead of the ceremony, Boss paid a visit to His Royal Majesty Manu Ishaku Adda Ali Matakhitswen I, the Aku Uka of Wukari, who is also the Chairman of the Taraba State Council of Traditional Rulers and the President of the Wukari Traditional Council.


During the visit, which was regarded as an auspicious occasion, the nonagenarian monarch conferred blessings upon Boss and wished him continued success in all his future endeavours.

He expressed his conviction that Boss’ visit would be a blessing not only to the people of Wukari but also to the entire Taraba State.

“The bestowal of the degree to Boss represents a significant accomplishment and recognition of his contributions to the legal profession,” Aku stated.
HRM the Aku Uka of Wukari, Manu Ishaku Adda Ali, and Chief Obadiah Ando will also be conferred with Honorary Doctorate Degrees of Science and Letters, respectively.

On Friday, Professor Jerry Gana, the former Minister of Information and Culture, delivered a pre-convocation lecture at the institution.
Among the dignitaries present at the lecture were the representative of the State Minister of Education and the former Minister of Transportation, Alhaji Mu’azu Sambo Jaji, the former Vice Chancellor of Kwararrafa University, Prof. Yakubu Ochefu, as well as the pioneer Vice-Chancellor of Al-Ansar University, Maiduguri, Prof. Abubakar Kundiri among others.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Jude Sammani Rabo, disclosed that the institution is poised to graduate 120 first-class students out of a total of 3,031 candidates.
