The Director of Operations, Edo Central Senatorial District Campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and BoT Chairman of The Ighodalo Movement for Edo People, Rt. Hon. Chief Joe Edionwele, JP, on Thursday, declared that the party is united, strong, and ready to triumph in the upcoming elections.
Addressing some members of his strategic team as he prepares to unveil the full squad, Edionwele assured that the Senatorial Campaign Council is committed to delivering a victory for the PDP in the District. “With you guys, we have a robust campaign strategic team in place. We are still consulting, and developing a strong structure to ensure that our message of hope, character, capacity, and the competence of our party’s candidate, Barr. Asue Ighodalo reaches every corner of the district”
Debunking the myth of mass defections from the PDP, the Chairman TIME BoT, revealed that “Those who left PDP have been playing anti-party but only formalized their exit. The good news is that the PDP Candidate’s infectious and intimidating credentials have already attracted so many APC, LP, and other political party members to the PDP. Those working with us secretly are even more than those who have openly defected to our party, PDP. I am sure you guys are also aware of those who have joined us from other political parties. Most specifically, is the Labour Party and Accord Party leadership who have already collapsed their structures to our party. They are not hiding it. It’s verifiable. By the time we take off, we will begin to unveil them for strategic reasons no doubt. The awareness in the senatorial district is high, and the Esan people are not going to try their luck. We are presenting our best, and the Esan people are united on the PDP Candidate. Dr Asue Ighodalo is our conscious choice irrespective of the political party. We are in this race to win.” Edionwele emphasized.
The PDP, with its rich history of delivering good governance, providing dividends of democracy, presenting its finest team, and committed to continuing those legacies known to Edo Central Senatorial District. “We are optimistic in our ability to deliver quality leadership on behalf of the people. We are confident of victory at the polls.” the Operations Director opined
With this declaration, the PDP has sent a clear message to other political parties, that they are ready to win the upcoming elections in the Edo Central Senatorial District resoundingly and advised them not to waste their resources so much.
